Under the Infosys PF transfer, if an Infosys employee changes jobs and joins another organization that also contributes to the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), they can initiate an Infosys PF transfer.
You need to follow these general steps For Infosys PF transfer:
- Check Eligibility: Ensure you are eligible for Infosys PF transfer. Generally, an Infosys PF transfer can be initiated if you switch jobs from one employer to another, and both employers contribute to the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO).
- UAN (Universal Account Number): Make sure you have a UAN issued by the EPFO. The UAN is a unique number assigned to every employee contributing to the EPF scheme. It remains the same throughout your career, regardless of job changes
- Verify KYC: Ensure your KYC (Know Your Customer) details are updated and verified on the EPFO portal. This includes your Aadhar, PAN, and bank account details.
- Initiate Transfer: Visit the EPFO member portal (https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/) and log in using your UAN and password. Then, go to the “Online Services” section and select “One Member – One EPF Account (Transfer Request)”.
- Fill out the Transfer Form: Complete the online form with the necessary details, such as your current employer’s PF details, your previous employer’s PF details, and the reason for the transfer. Choose the option for full or partial transfer as applicable.
- Verification: Your current and previous employers will need to verify the Infosys PF transfer request on their end through the EPFO portal.
- Transfer Process: Once the Infosys PF transfer request is verified and approved by both employers, the EPFO will process the transfer of funds from your old PF account to the new one.
